The inner city is defined as inside the Beltline also known as 440. There is a second loop being built starting in the northern part of the city called 540. Most of the roads in the city run north/south or east/west. It is recommended that you either use a map when trying to locate attractions as the city sprawls across such a large area.

There are parking lots at most of the starting points for the Greenways. Raleigh has also located recreation centers with bathrooms near most trails. Or it may have happened in reverse. Most trails are open to walkers, roller skaters and bikers, though there are bridges that may be hard to cross for the bikers.

The Blank Park Zoo is still in late winter mode, but it’s April Fool’s tradition continued with an announcement of a new dinosaur speciesat the zoo. While the video and the dinosaur may be a joke, the traveling animatronic dinosaur that’s coming May 27 isn’t a joke.

Undercovers (NBC, 8pm) – NEW! The Blooms try to recover a painting that’s hiding a formula for a biological weapon. During the mission, Samantha must adopt her old cover and work with Steven’s enemy, putting a strain on the couple’s relationship. Elsewhere, Hoyt develops a crush that could end up helping the mission. Guest starring Sean Maguire.

The Human Body Gallery is located on Level 4 of the Science Museum of Minnesota. There is lots of gross stuff for kids to play with as many of the exhibits are hands-on. We were able to test our heart rate and see it on a monitor. There was a Cell Lab complete with white lab coats where children ages 8 and up could experiment with cells, including seeing a cellular sample from inside their own cheek.

The Woodland Park Zoo is known for its natural looking and enjoyable exhibits. In fact the zoo has won many prestigious awards for its exhibits. There is so much to do and see here at the zoo that this can easily be a whole day adventure for any family. In fact that is what I would recommended is that you take a whole day and while you are there why not take a stroll next door to the beautiful Rose Garden. This is a free side trip as it doesn’t cost anything to view the roses but it is a wonderful experience and it goes well with the Woodland Park Zoo.

The Berjaya Eden Park Hotel in Bayswater is close by Oxford Street. This is one of the major thoroughfares of Westminster. It is a huge shopping area with 548 shops. It is considered to be London’s main shopping district. All the major department stores have their flagship store on Oxford Street. It is also a common place to see preachers, political demonstrations, and Hare Kirshnas. At Christmas time Oxford Street is decorated in festive lights.
