Also, to prevent your baby from scratching his or her face you will want to have mittens for the hands. Socks or booties also come in handy.

OAvoid new carpeting as they are very high in VOC’s which emits toxins for years. Leave the old carpet there and if you want a new floor consider linoleum, bamboo or other non toxic alternatives.

Obviously, there are many more items that are not essential but are nice to have, such as a baby monitor, a baby swing, and a rocking chair. This list is a great way to make sure you have all the essentials. Once you have those, you can add from the “nice to have” items as your budget allows.
