Pharmacy Technician – Is It Right For You

Medical assistants with administrative expertise help keep doctor’s offices and clinics running smoothly. Those with clinical backgrounds do everything from taking vital signs to sterilizing medical instruments.

Yes you will have to pay a little more to use a laser printer. However, you really want the job. Deliver the best to the hiring manager. Remember, look for any way you can stand above the rest.

Common professional paper textures are linen, cotton and parchment. At least 25% cotton is probably the best because it has a soft feel and look. Linen is typically grainy looking and can distract the reader pharmacy technician career from your resume content.

The amount of people employed as technicians was standing on 326,300 in 2018. By 2018, it is expected to improve to 426,000 – it is deemed an add-on of 99,800, or a growth of 31%. This information is from the National Employment Matrix.

Why? They are virtually recession-proof – which is particularly important in today’s economic climate. No matter what the economy does you still need your medication and you still need surgeries and you still need reading glasses. Those things are needs – not wants.

When going through the course, be sure to take advantage of any internship that may come along. These opportunities are often offered to the students who score the highest within the class. Students who are approved for these internships will be able to work side by side with an actual pharmacy technician course to get an idea of what the job is going to be like on a daily basis.

By this point I am not amused even more, and I looked at my insurance card. Now HIP changed my plan without telling me one day this past year. I went from Family Health Plus to another plan. I called them. They said it was better for my age group. I didn’t complain about that, but in their paper work they had my cell phone number from seven years ago. I don’t even know how that is possible; especially since on several occasions I gave them the CORRECT number. Anyway, so I am on their website and I see what my plan is called for the first time. That isn’t the plan that is listed on my card. ‘Twould be nice if they gave me the correct card. I am not bothering calling for a new card right now, how’s that? It’s THEIR problem! Every year they send me a card…they should get it right!

Are there other things to discuss about being a pharmacy technician? Absolutely. And I’ll touch on all those in the future. But for right now this should serve as a pretty good overview.
