Are you trying to quit smoking? If so you know the daunting task of that is before you. You can do it though as I am living proof of that fact. All it really takes is the desire to quit. And I mean a true desire. The fact is it’s not easy by any stretch of the imagination but it can be done. Others begin because they are trying to kick the habit of smoking tobacco. For whatever reason they feel that exchanging one addiction for another is the safer choice. This is not necessarily the case but it can be argued that chewing Scandinavian tobacco rather than smoking it impacts only the person doing the chewing rather than those who live and work around him.
To fight any withdrawal symptoms, consider exercising more. Endorphins your body produces while working out will help reduce your nicotine withdrawal symptoms, and physical activity will take your mind off cigarettes. Including increased exercise as part of your plan to stop smoking will help you avoid gaining weight as many people do when they quit.
These techniques have nothing to do with the nicotine addiction. Nonetheless they have an addicting effect of their own, on subconscious psychological levels the tobacco companies pray never get mentioned in the press.

You can actually test your self-control by visiting the non smoking area. If you can fight the urge, then this only means that you are just a step away from quitting smoking tobacco for good. You should also make sure that you have written down the reason why you need to quit. Do not just recognize the pleasure that smoking gives. You should also identify the perils of smoking so the process of quitting will be easier for you.
