The question of which is best, a website or a blog has a different answer today than it might have a few years ago. As the saying goes “the more things change the more they stay the same”. This holds true when discussing the differences between websites and blogs.

The term blog is a shortened term for web-log. Blogs started as an online application that allowed users to post their thoughts and personal musings. The appeal quickly grew because unlike websites that required (and still do) time to upload and hours to update blogs are updated in real time.

Personal Blogs can be created for free and some even custom designed (For a small fee that is). They have different templates and different formats something to satisfy everyone. The fee ranges from $2.99 and up and can be paid monthly or yearly; Depending on the person’s preference.

I haven’t tried every software application that claims to locate visit my website with dofollow, so I can’t say there isn’t a good option. However, I’ve been disappointed with my two efforts at using software, so I don’t bother.

Many blogs are boring journals/diaries filled with personal information of little interest to the general population. These give blogs and blogging a “bad name.” But, we must also remember that there are many far-from-delightful websites and e-newsletters too! All we need to do is click away – fast.

But of course, only advanced users can say WordPress is easy to install and use. For common users of WordPress like me, and probably you, the complexity of installing, setting up and managing WordPress can be very frustrating.

As much as I hate to admit it blogging is sometimes important for your business and your web presence. It can be useless or it can add an extra added push to your web business. That is entirely up to you and how often you choose to blog and what you decide to put in a blog.

OMake your blog searchable through your interests. Many blog programs allow you to create a user profile, which allows readers to search for you and your blog by interest topic and locations, in many cases. Do not overlook this simple way to draw readers. Simply fill out your profile, taking care to use many “interests” to attract more readers and browsers.
