Blog Commenting: The Search For Appropriate Blogs

August 4, 2020 Off By Crystal Watkins

I love blogs and blogging, but with all good things, especially those online, it comes with a whole new host of problems. Search engines love blogs and therefore so do spammers. Spammers love blogs only because blog spamming techniques work, thanks to the search engines and bloggers themselves.

Other people simply keep blogs to get the word out about new products or promotions. A company may keep a blog to keep readers interested in what they have to offer. This is easy and free advertising. Likewise, new internet entrepreneurs have gotten their feet wet with blogs by promoting affiliate products and selling advertising.

There are many sites and Workout progress that are nothing more than a regurgitation of someone else’s content. Some are providing a valuable service by being a news distribution source, but many others are not.

Next, find some place to publish your blog. There are a number of sites – both paying and free – that give bloggers a chance to publish their material. You may also want to simply set up your blog on your web site, especially if you already have an active web site.

Blogs give the writer and writers a way to post opinions, how tos and articles — both short and long — with freedom to express ideas without censure.

Set up Google Alerts for people or brands that are either your competitors or that reach a complimentary audience. Find out who is covering them. Maybe they will want to cover you too.

Buying backlinks, unless it is a service that hand submits those comments and as I described, is a big waste of your hard-earned money. Whether you pay someone to use it or you use it yourself, automated blogging software is another waste of time and money. Also, leaving the wrong type of comments on the wrong type of blogs will do you more harm than good.
