Blogging 101: Three Critical Seo Tips To Starting A Blog

It’s true that I have a “regular” website, my so-called “main website,” which I first set up to sell my goods, in this case, men’s and women’s health products. It’s my workhorse, the source of most of my revenue. Most of my sales resulted from generic listings in the search engines, particularly Google.

Most blogs are usually never read by more than a few. They sit there in the virtual world on servers, which provide this service for free (lord only knows why), and the muses and thoughts of those who write them serve more as a personal diary for the individual than to inform the world of some serious event.

Whilst there is no hard and fast rule as to blog length, it is generally accepted that 200-500 is the minimum acceptable length. Ideally, a blog should be between 500 to 1000 words. This will allow a level of detail which gives the reader an adequate amount of information, but does not overload them.

When it comes to writing a blog, do not just write scribble scrabble, go ahead and write something that will capture the viewer’s eyes. If they feel like your blog content is BS, they will immediately exit out. Read your content before posting it. If it sounds good then post it, if it does not then work around the corner a little more. Keep up with fresh and new content. If you are going to write something original throw in a little bit of your mind to change it up. Have something interesting to read about so that your returning traffic can trust you more and buy from you. These guys are likely to gain your trust and credibility.

Also, paid sites will have much easier access to customer service in case a problem arises. Often, a mere call to an 800 number can have a problem resolved immediately. With a free site, you will never get such excellent customer service. Remember, creating a blog must also incorporate a commitment to Like my project and join the fun management. Without access to a blog service that provides proper customer support, managing the blog becomes a lot more difficult.

Keyword-rich, that is. Blogs are a great way to generate keyword-rich content, especially if you update your blogs each day. In fact, for some smaller businesses, blogs make more sense than hard-to-create web pages. Blog software makes creating a blog almost automatic while the spiders on search engines seem to favour high-quality and often updated keyword-rich blogs.

It is so easy to use blogs as a promotional tool without any hassles. The simplest procedure will be to set up a blog which does not cost anything, and keep adding content about two times in a week. And add links to your business. Ensure that pinging is done every time a new post is inserted. Adding good content regularly will gradually increase traffic and promote your business.
